calling all cat whisperers - Ricky needs a home!

Ricky and his sister, Lucy, lived outside on their own for their first 6 months and are now learning how nice it is to be safely inside with consistent food, routine, and (lots of) toys. While they are comfortable being inside, they are still working on trusting people and Ricky is looking for a forever home with a patient owner who is willing to continue working on his socialization. 

Ricky is a dapper guy that loves to play and wants attention, but is still very shy and hides when people come over. Like most former ferals, he will bond strongly with one or two people (in his case through food, playtime, and affection), but would likely be overwhelmed by a large group. He does well with other cats and an ideal home would have a people friendly cat that could help him gain more trust and become less skittish. Ricky doesn’t like to be held but isn’t aggressive; he just goes limp with fear. 

Please contact me if you or anyone you know might be able to provide this special guy the love and time that he needs. Owners with cat experience would be best, but I can also help advise on socialization techniques. He is very entertaining and loves to steal toys and take them to his favorite cat tunnel. He is talkative, curious, and wants to interact, but keeps to the fringes out of fear. He is around 9 months old so he still has plenty of playful energy and he has been fixed. He will be scared meeting anyone, but I’ve put up several videos so you can get an idea of his sweet disposition.
